About this wallpaper
A reel-to-reel tape spool in a dark studio, brown magnetic tape glinting under a desk lamp, loose tape curling off the reel like a ribbon, VU meters glowing green in the background dark.
The vintage feeling comes through in the color work: deep black, dark maroon, blended so transitions feel natural instead of posterized. Darkness here is a gradient, not a void.
On a phone screen the dark regions keep app labels crisp while the finer details emerge on closer inspection — the kind of wallpaper that doesn’t get old after a week. Free download in full resolution.
