Pressed Shadows
A herbarium sheet of pressed black dahlia, lamplight raking paper fibers, ink script in the margin. A botanical phone wallpaper in deep black — free download.
About this wallpaper
A herbarium sheet of a pressed black dahlia, stem and leaves flattened to paper, the collector’s ink script along the margin, lamplight raking the fibers.
The botanical feeling comes through in the color work: deep black, dark maroon, blended so transitions feel natural instead of posterized. Darkness here is a gradient, not a void.
On a phone screen the dark regions keep app labels crisp while the finer details emerge on closer inspection — the kind of wallpaper that doesn’t get old after a week. Free download in full resolution.
