The Garden Raked for Ghosts
The Brush Remembers Water
A calligraphy brush across an ink stone, a glistening black stroke on rice paper, ink drops mid-fall in lamplight. An ink phone wallpaper in deep black — free download.
About this wallpaper
A giant calligraphy brush resting across an ink stone, a fresh black stroke glistening on rice paper, ink drops suspended mid-fall, dim lamplight from the side.
The ink feeling comes through in the color work: deep black, blended so transitions feel natural instead of posterized. Darkness here is a gradient, not a void.
On a phone screen the dark regions keep app labels crisp while the finer details emerge on closer inspection — the kind of wallpaper that doesn’t get old after a week. Free download in full resolution.
