The Cab Waits in Fog
Shadow of a Penny-Farthing
A penny-farthing's long shadow on gaslit cobbles, the great wheel looming, fog on the shopfronts. Victorian phone wallpaper, free download in full resolution.
About this wallpaper
A penny-farthing bicycle casting a long shadow on a gaslit cobbled street at night, the giant front wheel looming, fog softening the shopfronts.
The palette stays in deep black, layered so the eye moves from the darkest corners toward whatever faint light the scene allows. It reads as victorian without tipping into flat black — there is always texture in the shadows.
As a phone wallpaper it sits well behind icons and widgets — dark enough to keep text readable, detailed enough to reward a second look. Free download in full resolution.
