About this wallpaper
A black bamboo culm sheath in macro, rain beading on the waxy dark surface in perfect spheres, fine hairs catching silver light along the sheath’s torn edge, the bamboo’s segmented joints fading into green-black shadow, each raindrop holding a warped reflection.
The macro feeling comes through in the color work: deep black, blended so transitions feel natural instead of posterized. Darkness here is a gradient, not a void.
On a phone screen the dark regions keep app labels crisp while the finer details emerge on closer inspection — the kind of wallpaper that doesn’t get old after a week. Free download in full resolution.
