Mountains in an Ink Dream

About this wallpaper

Misty ink-wash mountains layered like a hanging scroll, a lone pine on a cliff edge, a tiny distant temple roof in the valley fog, monochrome blacks and greys.

Built on deep black, ash grey, the image keeps its mountains mood through tonal depth rather than pure darkness. Light is used sparingly, which is what gives the composition its weight.

Designed as a phone background, it balances legibility and atmosphere: icons stay readable against the darker regions while the composition holds up at full brightness. Free download in full resolution.
