The Throat of the Mountain
Infinity Doubled in Black Water
A still underground pool mirroring a spore-dense glowing ceiling, doubling the light into infinity. A night phone wallpaper in deep black — free download.
About this wallpaper
A perfectly still underground pool mirroring a ceiling dense with glowing spores, the reflection doubling the light into apparent infinity, dark rock rim barely visible at the pool’s edges, the tiniest ripple threatening the perfect symmetry, spore light shimmering gold-green above and below.
The palette stays in deep black, layered so the eye moves from the darkest corners toward whatever faint light the scene allows. It reads as night without tipping into flat black — there is always texture in the shadows.
As a phone wallpaper it sits well behind icons and widgets — dark enough to keep text readable, detailed enough to reward a second look. Free download in full resolution.
