Birches Armored in Rime
Harvesting the Night Ice
Ice sawing on a moonlit pond, black water in the cuts, sawdust pale, a horse sled waiting at the bank. A winter phone wallpaper in dark slate blue — free download.
About this wallpaper
Men sawing ice blocks on a moonlit pond at night, black water in the cut channels, sawdust pale on the ice, a horse-drawn sled waiting at the bank.
The winter feeling comes through in the color work: dark slate blue, deep black, blended so transitions feel natural instead of posterized. Darkness here is a gradient, not a void.
On a phone screen the dark regions keep app labels crisp while the finer details emerge on closer inspection — the kind of wallpaper that doesn’t get old after a week. Free download in full resolution.
